    For both Implementer and Auditor pathways, you must complete the ISO 50001 Requirements course. This course offers a comprehensive introduction to environmental management system standards, designed for anyone planning, implementing, maintaining, supervising or auditing an ISO 14001:2015 environmental management system (EMS). You will learn how an EMS can save an organisation money, reduce waste and win customer confidence.

    BSI Fundamentals of Change Management Content

    This course enables you to:

    • Understand the roles, responsibilities, and behaviours of an effective implementer
    • Discover the process and key tools that form part of an implementer’s project and change management toolkit
    • Learn the components of the management system that support an implementer to build internal capability to deliver change
    • Gain the process steps and key tools that an implementer uses to review the management system and its performance

    Upon completing the course you will be issued with a certificate of attendance, which is upgraded to a certificate of competence upon successful completion of the post-course assessment.

  • ISO 50001 Implementation

    Establishing, implementing and maintaining an EnMS requires a range of various technical and non-technical tools and techniques. This course will develop your knowledge and skills to implement the requirements of ISO 50001:2018.

    Prerequisite:

    To complete this course you need to complete ISO 50001 Requirements and Fundamentals of Change Management, or pass the pre-course assessment to demonstrate you have the required level of knowledge.

  • ISO 14001 Lead Implementer Course

    Leading the implementation of an EnMS requires a range of various technical and non-technical tools and techniques.

    Prerequisite:

    To enrol on this course you will need to hold a certificate of achievement for the 50001 Implementation course or pass the pre-course assessment to demonstrate you have the required level of knowledge.

    ISO 14001:2015 Lead Implementer Outcomes

    This course will help you:

    • Communicate the benefits of aligning a management system to ISO 50001:2018
    • Identify the roles, responsibilities, and behaviours of an effective Lead Implementer
    • Be able to conduct a gap analysis of a management system against ISO 50001:2018 criteria
    • Produce an ISO 50001 implementation plan
    • Be able to identify and address the most common non-conformities found in an ISO 50001:2018 management system
    • Be able to engage implementation stakeholders to support the implementation of changes to align the management system to ISO 50001
    • Be able to present an implementation plan for ISO 50001 alignment to top management and senior stakeholders
    • Produce project objectives that are aligned with the project scope and intended outcomes
    • Produce tools to support and enable project team members to meet their objectives
    • Conduct an energy review to establish the significant energy uses (SEUs) of the organization
    • Identify and manage the documentation requirements of ISO 50001:2018
    • Effective planning and control related to SEUs
    • Produce energy management monitoring and audit programmes with sufficient resources to conduct effective energy management system audits
    • Establish an energy baseline (EnB) and select suitable energy performance indicators (EnPIs) to enable effective monitoring and measurement activities
    • Produce a project risk register and associated controls to support stakeholders to manage risks when completing their actions
    • Be able to hold project team meetings and coordinate project activities
    • Produce a corrective action plan
    • Be able to close a project and capture lessons learned to support the demonstration of organizational learning
