RRC are working in Partnership with Sleep Unlimited to offer the IOSH Approved Sleeping Well to Work Safely. This new course presents a range of examples of people who experience sleep disturbance caused by work. This includes work-related stress, shift-working, working in safety critical environments and those experiencing jet lag. It also explores how those outside of these groups can experience sleep disturbance and insomnia.
The course is aimed at anyone interested in understanding how improving sleep leads to short and long-term health benefits, and are looking to be able to identify common sleep conditions and support colleagues in managing them. Through identifying and managing sleep related issues, organisations can see an improvement of overall safety, increased productivity and decreased absenteeism.
Sleep Unlimited’s fully qualified team use only evidence-based methods, including guidelines recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) for treating insomnia disorders.
