What does Gold Learning Partner mean?

RRC are delighted to have been evaluated as a NEBOSH Gold Learning Partner, the highest level in the NEBOSH Learning Partner programme.

NEBOSH introduced a Learning Partner Programme in September 2019 which recognises those Learning Partners that provide learners with the best possible learning experience.

All NEBOSH Learning Partners have been classified based on their performance against the programme’s principles which represent global best practice in the provision of course tuition and support. The key principles are:

    • Ensure all learners understand what is expected of them and what they can expect from their Learning Provider
    • Create a learning environment that is engaging and encourages interaction that is appropriate for the course and type of delivery
    • Provide accurate course materials and continually update and improve them
    • Ensure tutors are qualified, knowledgeable, competent and engaging
    • Give learners feedback on their progress and provide appropriate support
    • Review course delivery and learner feedback and action as necessary

    Learner Partner Status

Learning Partners can be identified as follows:

    • Gold - greatly exceeds the principles
    • Silver - exceeds the principles
    • Bronze - meets the principles
How long does it take to complete the course?

This will depend on how you choose to study.

    • Classroom and Live Online courses are taught over 2 weeks (10 days) plus the assessment which takes around 8 hours to complete.
    • The Online course takes around 110 hours to complete plus the 8 hours for the assessment. We would expect learners to complete this course in around 4-8 months, depending on the time they allocate each week to their studies.
What is the difference between Online, Live Online, e-Learning and Distance Learning?

Live Online is delivered in real time through Zoom and is very similar to a classroom course. The tutor will deliver the course with breaks to allow time for group work, exercises and private study.

Online & e-Learning are just different words for the same thing and mean a flexible self study course delivery with tutor support you can access via email. Distance Learning means learning at a distance but is commonly used to describe the more traditional paper based study. RRC do provide the complete study text which you can download and study off line thus giving you the option of how you study the course.

What is the difference between the UK and International Construction Certificate?

The UK Certificate is based on UK legislation. The International Certificate is based on International Standards of Best Practice.

What education level is the International Construction Certificate?

The NEBOSH Health and Safety Management for Construction (International) is a level 7 qualification (SCQF), which is the equivalent of level 5 (EQF), or to A-levels in the UK.

Is the certificate I receive the same if I study Online as when I study in the Classroom?

Yes, the Certificate is the exact same. You cannot tell the method of study from the Certificate.

What happens if I fail my assessment?

If you do not pass your assessments, you can book a resit with our exams team.

Please note you will need to pay the NEBOSH assessment fee again along with a small RRC administration fee.

You can find more advice on what to do if you're referred and the options available here, including accessing support, booking your resit and challenging your result.

    Can I access past papers?

As Unit CI1 is a scenario based question paper, previous exam papers will not help you in your studies. NEBOSH do provide extensive guidance and examples on their website https://www.nebosh.org.uk/open-book-examinations/ which is very helpful in preparing for the assessments.

Yes, when you study the NEBOSH Construction Certificate (International) with RRC you are eligible to sign up for TOTUM Pro. This is a discount scheme that gives you access to exclusive discounts, offers and vouchers from hundreds of retailers. You can find out more about the scheme here.

The tutor, Steve, was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable and the practical application and examples he used and explained really helped me through the exam.

The Live Online course was well structured and the RRC platform is really user-friendly and easy to use.

I would recommend RRC as a learning partner to anyone looking to undertake professional health and safety qualifications. I was so impressed by the service I received from RRC, I have decided to stay with them to continue my professional development and start my NEBOSH National Diploma

I thoroughly enjoyed the course and highly recommend other people to do a NEBOSH course through RRC International.

Thought the course was nicely laid out, well delivered and easy to follow.

Thank you as well for your constant support during this part of my journey with NEBOSH. Thank you for your amazing lectures and feedbacks and thank you for being so supportive during the learning process!

Good course materials and trainer presented very efficiently.

I found RRC during a tough time as many people have been through in recent times. This subject is something I've always had an interest in and gave me something to focus on. I just want to thank you and your team.

The course material provided were really informative not just for the course but to also use in my daily work. The main difference for me was the tutor... I would not hesitate recommending them.

The course was very useful and I have learned a lot from the excellent tutor Mr. Hassan, who kept us very interested, and I was impressed by the whole experience of making the learning process an enjoyable one.

The course was very fluent, easy going, and although there was lots of information to review, the tutor did a very good job in keeping us interested and explained everything. Great content and materials.

After failing my first attempt... I attended your revision course, I have to say the tips you gave me were invaluable, I completely changed my approach from the first exam.
