The NEBOSH Health and Safety at Work Award Qualification (NEBOSH HSA) provides the perfect introduction to individuals looking for a good understanding of Workplace health & safety or who are looking to start a career in Health and Safety.
The NEBOSH Health and Safety at Work Award Qualification covers the principles of health and safety rather than specific law, focusing on common workplace hazards and how to identify and control them. This qualification is particularly relevant for team leaders, supervisors, facilities managers and anyone wishing to ensure they work safely.
The NEBOSH Health and Safety at Work Award consists of one unit which must be successfully completed within six months to achieve the NEBOSH Health and Safety Award qualification.
There are no entry requirements for this qualification.
This qualification is available to study in English or Arabic. For learners studying in English, it is important they have a suitable standard of English language so they can understand and articulate the concepts contained in the syllabus. NEBOSH recommends that learners undertaking this qualification should reach a minimum standard of English equivalent to an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 5.0 or higher in IELTS tests.

Assessment:
Units HSA1 of the NEBOSH Health and Safety at Work Award is assessed by a three-hour workplace health and safety review which should be carried out in the learner's own workplace.
Exams are on-demand throughout the year.

Live Online is delivered in real time through Zoom and is very similar to a classroom course. The tutor will deliver the course with breaks to allow time for group work, exercises, and private study.
Online & elearning are just different words for the same thing, and mean a flexible, self study course delivery with tutor support that can be accessed via email. Distance Learning, means learning at a distance but is commonly used to describe the more traditional paper based study, RRC do provide the complete study text which you can download and study off line thus giving you the option of how you study the course.

There are no specific entry requirements for the NEBOSH Certificate so you do not have to study the HSA first; however having this Award will give you an excellent introduction to the subject.
